Business consultant, university lecturer, keynote speaker, diversity and development expert -- Kirstin Wolf is an experienced all-rounder with a strong focus on advancement in the African continent. Following graduation from the University of Bayreuth (renowned as Germany's top institution on African Studies) with a well-received thesis on "The Emancipation Process of the Egyptian Woman in the Islamic Context", she participated in a post-grad seminar on intercultural relations in Africa emphasising the topic of food security. Being the project leader of a two-year field study in Egypt gave her the opportunity to gain rich hands-on experiences with the needs and struggles of the little people.
For over 20 years, Kirstin has managed more than 35 projects regarding education and income generation in African countries as diverse as Egypt, Suden, Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda, where she realized projects from the ground up by involving and empowering the locals. At the core of many of these projects was the sustainable empowerment of women at the grassroot level. Her hands-on approach and direct involvement led to several long-term stays in Africa throughout the years, making her a sought-after expert in the fields of developing countries and empowerment.
Kristin is the owner of PURPLE Consulting, founder of DAJUKA (German association for young professional careers), an active member and award owner as professional networker in WOMAN'S Businessclub, an award owner as expert in the McKinsey program startsocial (special award of the German Chancellor), President of the African Friends (NGO), Germany and an active member of the Bavarian One World Association (NGO).
